Based on colors of my departed love bird.

Feather stencil

My mixed media group is interested in painting feathers si I dug out these stencils for those who want to give them a try.  I remembered my friend Elizabeth did some beautiful work with hets last year.    Shes going to try to find them so dhe can bring to show and tell.       I will also take my friend Rachels watercolor feather  to show.  These should inspire us. Plus friend Linda will bring some of Daisy's  dropped feathers.   Thanks Daisy!

Feather 2

That was such fun thought I would do it again.   Before it dried the colors were vivid.  Now it is so subtle... I like it this way too.

Feather1

My friend Rachel sent me a watercolor painting of a feather.  She had the feather to look at.    Its really awesome.   I had to try my hand at painting an imaginary feather.      Here it is.

Jackies birds done

Awhile back i posted a few stitches on fabric in a frame.       It was the beginning stitches of this piece.     The stitches are so tiny i cant see them.      But i love the pieces Jackie does. I ourchased this one. The monarchs were a gift from a friend.    I appreciate this fine work.

At tea garden

Spring at Micke Grove Tea Garden

My friend Jean and I took a little ride and a nice walk Saturday.     After the tea garden we walked along the lake and found ourselves in the path of Disc Golfers playing the course.    Duh.   We didnt know it was a course - and worse yet - we didnt have a clue there was such a sport.     Looked like fun.

Abstract blue

Blueberries 2

Another succulent.

Feb 27 sketch.

Blueberries

In this nature sketchbook I see that I seldom use blues and purples.   I sought out blueberries to fill this void.  This sketch book has only 4 pages left to do.   I need to pick up snother one as I really enjoy working on the Strathmore Toned Tan paper for organic subjects.
