I wake up thinking about art. My passions are light, sunshine, colors. Now that I am retired and no longer spend my daylight hours in the library - I play in my garden and make art in my studio.
My grown family is happy that I am so absorbed and find my retired life so rich and full.
Family, friends, pets, art, plants, music, healthy eating and fresh air. Those are the key ingredients to make my life so satisfying. I use this as a personal journal, so blog is a mixed bag. To see images of my other mixed media works go to http://www.picturetrail.com/artsngardens
I've been altering my garden instead of art. California temperatures are in the 70's this week and everything is growing so fast I can hardly believe it. Take a walk down my garden paths and enjoy the California Springtime.
Janene, your garden is wonderful! and those lilacs -- WOW! They grow here (in El Paso) because they don't require that much water, but they are NOTHING like yours. To be sure.

Janene, your garden is magical! It must house a fairy or two.
