Why paint herons? This started with an old photocopy of herons of my aunt's that drifted to the top of a pile of papers I was going to throw away. What better reason? Here are two variations.

- I wake up thinking about art. My passions are light, sunshine, colors. Now that I am retired and no longer spend my daylight hours in the library - I play in my garden and make art in my studio. My grown family is happy that I am so absorbed and find my retired life so rich and full. Family, friends, pets, art, plants, music, healthy eating and fresh air.
