I wake up thinking about art. My passions are light, sunshine, colors. Now that I am retired and no longer spend my daylight hours in the library - I play in my garden and make art in my studio.
My grown family is happy that I am so absorbed and find my retired life so rich and full.
Family, friends, pets, art, plants, music, healthy eating and fresh air. Those are the key ingredients to make my life so satisfying. I use this as a personal journal, so blog is a mixed bag. To see images of my other mixed media works go to http://www.picturetrail.com/artsngardens
The mushroom poem from a few posts back is in this little fabric and paper covered (altered) board book I just finished. Here are a few pics. I'll upload the rest on the picturetrail site later.
Janene, I LOVE the poem along with these images! It looks like you used quite a bit of fabric in this book too. Can't wait to see it in person! Leave it to you, to make the lowly earthy mushroom, into the magnificent focal point in this altered book...love it :-)
