The Spring semester began today at Delta's Senior program. I returned to the art class, which I really missed last semester. It was good to be among old friends and we are off to a good start.

- I wake up thinking about art. My passions are light, sunshine, colors. Now that I am retired and no longer spend my daylight hours in the library - I play in my garden and make art in my studio. My grown family is happy that I am so absorbed and find my retired life so rich and full. Family, friends, pets, art, plants, music, healthy eating and fresh air. Those are the key ingredients to make my life so satisfying. I use this as a personal journal, so blog is a mixed bag. Janene, this picture is wonderful! Makes me think of my grandmother and her vegetable garden. But the more I think of it, the more I think they are butchering chickens! Wish my eyes were better!!!
