Two for breakfast

Today I tried a new method for creating central shapes.    I began by marking the paper on three sides with light color.   Then connected the spots (place markers) with 3/4 inch brush in same color.  The trick was to vary the lines. Curves. Broken lines. Some wide some narrow.  Some straight. Some angles. Also making some slight variations in the color in several ways.  The object is to develop an interesting unpredictable shape.

After that its time to break up the background with other shapes and colors.  i almost always use circles somewhere.   And textures.    At the end I do the ink outlines and white pen marks.   and spatters of colors used in painting.   .
