Having a little bit of fun

Rosemary and Nancy showed up before 8 a.m. to pick me up to go to Char's house in Fair Oaks. We had a long drive ahead, but also a good chance to talk and laugh on the way. We used my GPS friend "Faith", and she got us there perfectly.

Sally was there when we arrived, so we settled right into some nice hot muffins right out of the oven, and got to talking about our proposed business venture. There were lots of ideas tossed around and we covered a lot of ground. I have years of experience, and not much energy. They, on the other hand - are full of energy and enthusiasm and no old baggage, so they have a fresh approach and I think it will go well. We sort of balanced out this way. Everyone had something to contribute.

After the business portion of day was over, we toured Char's doll house "museum". She has one room in her house devoted to her doll houses and vignettes. WOW, WOW, DOUBLE WOW!!!! We really enjoyed the close look and appreciated the smallest details.

One of the group wasn't feeling well so we headed for home, chatting all the way. It was a lovely day and it was very good to be with the art pals again. Now we are all inspired to start working on projects related to the "business". There will be more on that later.

Good luck, everyone! I hope the business succeeds past your wildest dreams.

Char's dollhouse room looks wonderful. She works in 1 inch, right?
