Let's take a walk with Jackie

Jackie always started her days early in the morning. In winter they would take off before sunrise rain or shine. Brussels and Trixie are her two rescue dogs, spoiled rotten and well loved. They just had baths day before yesterday when Jackie found a traveling dog groomer online. She had called half a dozen listings that were out of business but finally the last one was still operating ad they came right out. The dogs are Brussels Griffons, a shaggy haired breed. It's been several months since Jackie has been able to walk them, and her husband has a bad hip and can't do this for her. I'm sure they miss the walks, but they also like just being home with the family.

Jackie used to share with me tales of their morning adventures, the state of the beaver dams, the changes in the neighborhood after the housing crash when many homes were left vacant, and the joys of seeing little things that most people don't notice. Jackie notices every thing. And she is very handy with her camera.

Here are some of her early morning pics. I'll also tuck in a piece of her art from time to time.
